Hyllning till en Dam [Homage to a Lady] – exhibition

8–31 December 2007 at Galleri Bergström in Jönköping, Sweden

A series of five screen prints with motifs of classic striped and checked kitchen towels in red and white. Portraits of towels that have been in use of one and the same lady for nearly a century, a lady that has passed away. This is a homage to a lady that is no more and homage to an ordinary object that has moved on to a new generation. The exhibition also include three sculptures base on a cross symbol, which are a commentary to life, death and to have faith in something.
